With Buffy the Vampire Slayer being the first television show he ever loved, Z.E. Silver learned from an early age that just because the undead are involved, doesn’t mean that a piece of media can’t offer a deep understanding of what it means to be human. He decided to take a lifetime of learning about people—their hopes, their dreams, their insecurities, their pain, and everything in between—and decided to combine it with his passion for the implausible and the impossible.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Z.E. Silver now lives in Phoenix, Arizona where ehe fills his time by staying active, checking out the neighborhood coffee shop, and even snowboarding a few days a year. When he's not writing, he's desperately trying to convince everyone that Phoenix isn't actually that hot, and that the dry heat is, in fact, a real thing.
